Gregg Silver
Founder
Gregg Silver began his banking career at Citibank in 1987.
From 1994-1999 he ran the Securitization Group, and later the Securitization Department of The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, NY Branch.
In 1999 he was named as President of 1st Financial Funding & Investment Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of 1st Financial Bank USA, where he ran the securitization area.
In 2010 he additionally became Chief Financial Officer of 1st Financial Bank USA. In this role he ran the accounting and finance department as well as the teller side of the community bank. In 2023, he also became head of the lending side of the community bank as well.
Additionally, Gregg has been a founding member of both leading trade groups for the structured finance industry: The American Securitization Forum (ASF) and The Structured Finance Association (SFA).
At ASF, he was Executive Vice President and sat on the Executive Committee among other positions at the organization.
At SFA, he was the organization’s original Treasurer and sat on the Executive Committee. Later he also became the initial Chairman of the organization’s charitable foundation.
